Why I Created Anchored Edge

When I lost my mama, I was lost.

Grief was hard enough, but there were also decisions to make, things to find, people to contact, and questions I didn't always know how to answer. I learned how overwhelming it can be to handle the practical details of someone's life while you're trying to process the fact that they're gone.

Anchored Edge grew out of that experience.

I wanted to create the kinds of practical resources I wish I'd had then. Things that help people organize important information, make their wishes known, and leave the people they love with a little less uncertainty when the time comes.

I can't make losing someone easier. But I can help make some of what comes with it easier to navigate.

That's the heart of Anchored Edge.

From Personal Experience to Practical Resources

I was working in a toxic workplace while caring for my aging parents and managing their doctors’ appointments. Then came their deaths and the grief that followed, and it was hard! Life is hard sometimes, and we need help. I knew something had to change, and I wanted to help others get through seasons like the one I had faced.

Anchored Edge™ helps people navigate the everyday pressures of home and family life, including caregiving, major life changes, planning for the future and help dealing with the present. Through practical guides, journals, and resources, I help you work through what’s weighing on you, organize what matters and decide what your next step is.

Corporate Edge™ helps everyday employees handle difficult bosses, burnout, uncomfortable conversations, and workplace boundaries. Drawing from my own experience in a toxic work environment, from letting things slide when they should have been addressed and from staying quiet when I needed to speak up, I create practical workbooks, journals and script guides to help you build confidence, speak up professionally and stand your ground.
